Vous êtes ici :
5 Good reasons to spend your holidays at Camping la Beaume campsite:
1) A small campsite with a friendly family atmosphere
There are only 60 pitches at our campsite, so it is classed as a ‘small campsite’ under French law. What’s the advantage of that? You get to meet us, Bertrand and Sophie, the owners, so we can give you more of our time to tend to your needs. Also, each member of our small team is fully trained to help with any enquiries that you may have. The weekly events that they organise so that you can meet other holidaymakers serve to promote the family atmosphere that we encourage here at La Beaume campsite.
2) Ideal location in an amazing region
The campsite is situated in the most beautiful region in France. If you don’t believe us, come and see for yourself!
The river Verdon harmoniously weaves its way through this beautiful part of Provence. In summer, you can enjoy seeing spectacular lavender fields. The crystal-clear waters of the lake, Lac d’Esparron de Verdon are captivating. You can visit our beautiful Provençal villages and bask in superb summer temperatures (even when it’s not summer). You will most certainly enjoy the dizzy heights of Europe’s biggest canyon. Lastly, you will have the chance to sample local culinary delights as you listen to producers talk passionately about their creations. In short, you’ll love it.
3) Wide range of services & facilities
Our team does all it can to help you by offering a wide range of facilities & services to make your stay as pleasant as possible:
Fresh bread delivered every morning by l’Allemagnette bakery (boulangerie) based in nearby Allemagne-en-Provence.*
A restaurant that will prepare you some truly mouth-watering dishes.*
A small shop selling essentials and delicious local products.
Activities to burn off a few calories!*
Fun family entertainment.*
A kids’ club, ‘Mini Club’, so your children can make new friends whilst you, but don’t tell the children, get a chance to relax!*
Advice from our Verdon-loving team about activities on offer in the local area.
4) Unusual accommodation
Because we love originality, we have come up with some really cute and quirky accommodation for you. You can:
Sleep in a tree (a hundred-year-old oak tree) and wait for the squirrels to pop in
Dream away in a tepee (constructed by ‘modern’ native Americans)
Have a snooze in one of our Sweet Flower raised-platform wooden cabins
Doze off to the lullaby of cicadas and crickets in our Trapper’s Cabin
Unwind in a gypsy-style caravan
5) Facilities worthy of a large campsite
That’s right! It’s not just because we’re small that we need to ‘act’ small, is it?
That’s why we’ve fully equipped your campsite with:
A swimming pool and splash pad with water fountains for all ages!
A nice park for children to play in.
After a trip to the park, they can go to the bar/restaurant* to enjoy a delicious organic apple juice and an ice-cream!
Recently updated shower & toilet facilities for campers.
For a trip to the lake (the Verdon’s most beautiful, of course), and the Basses Gorges (Lower Gorge), you can hire canoes from us!*
For those of you who prefer to take things at a leisurely pace, you can hire an electric boat.
